Gino started to practice Yoga in 2000 as he was looking for a form of exercise that would not just focus on the body. After practicing Iyengar for a few years he moved to other forms of Yoga including Ashtanga and various types of flows. In 2016 he decided to deepen his practice by completing the 200 hours teacher training program at the Down Under School of Yoga in Brookline where he studied under the direction of Barbara Benagh and Natasha Rizopolous. In 2018 he continued his training by completing the 300 hours intensive course in Anukalana Yoga with Jacopo Ceccarelli at the Samadhi School of Yoga in Florence. While now practicing almost exclusively Anukalana, Gino’s approach to yoga is a reflection of his many years of practice combining different aspects of Yoga that he has learned from his teachers, ranging from slower meditative to vigorous flow as well as attention to alignment..
